Facilities Specialist

Description:

Supports the functions of Facilities Management Services with regards to small projects, space planning and property management. Compiles analyses and writes routine reports designed to answer questions, solve problems, and support planning. Assists AM Project Specialists with tracking data on various facilities and property management projects, including providing pricing comparison on products and goods, and works with vendors on quotes. Assists with contract management.

Qualification:

Education\:

High school diploma/GED required. AA/AS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.

 

Experience • Experience in and ability to demonstrate excellent judgment, attention to process and detail, confidentiality, tact, and ability to deal with sensitive issues in a timely manner • Experience with badging and access system programming • Experience navigating Intranet sites via SharePoint software • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities at own discretion • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time and tasks in an organized manner

Knowledge\: • MS Office proficiency including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook (including electronic mail and calendaring features). • CCure or similar Access system software’s • SharePoint training and knowledge
