Pharmacy Assistant-Part Time

We seek a Pharmacy Assistant to assist with deliveries, administrative, and various other related duties in the pharmacy.

 

 

Schedule for this position will be 24 hours a week within the Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Pharmacy schedule. You must have or be willing to get your WA State Pharmacy Assistant license through the WA State Board of Pharmacy.  

Responsibilities:

Major Responsibilities: 

 

  • Handle mail and invoices, distribute and file as required.
  • Answer telephones and direct calls.
  • Order office supplies
  • Prepare shipments and mailings.
  • Communicate with customers by phone and in-person
  • Data entry
  • Process and file paperwork
  • Check inventory
  • Deliver medications to various group homes and clinics
  • Various other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Requirements:

 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to use automated systems and office equipment at an acceptable level of proficiency.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to understand and follow routine to moderately complex verbal instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Effective at working independently and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to remain flexible to change.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must have or be willing to get your WA State Pharmacy Assistant License if hired.
