We seek a highly motivated research assistant to contribute to ongoing research in the field of neuromodulation for movement disorders.  Specifically, this person will focus on quantifying movements for the purposes of generating an objective database of movement-related neuronal activity. The Research Assistant will assist in the design of inertial movement measuring devices, circuit design and assembly, and the creation of an automated system for the recognition of specific movements from signals derived from the inertial measuring device.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Required:  Bachelor’s Degree in a Neuroscience related scientific field
•    Undergraduate research experience with inertial measurement devices, circuit design and software coding in C++, Python and Matlab.
•    Undergraduate research experience working with human subjects in the clinical and intra-operative setting.
•    Knowledge of circuit design and assembly
•    Software coding in multiple programming languages, including C++, Matlab, Swift, Objective C and Python
•    Excellent interpersonal interactions with patients and other lab members
•    CITI certification required
