Summary of Position

Responsible for effective management of information processing, residence hall and apartment card access system, key and combination control and the damage billing process for all residence hall students. Provide administrative support to six Housing managers. Manage and process student hiring paperwork for over 100 student workers; keep all records accurate and up-to-date. Instruct and assist Residence Hall Directors regarding housing processes in support of their overall position responsibilities. Manage uniform program for housing department.

Other minimum qualifications

High school graduation with seven years of office support experience of increasing responsibility including three years of supervision. Bachelor’s degree and three years, or combination of experience, specialized training and higher education equal to seven years. Comprehensive knowledge of office procedures and practices. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public. Keyboarding and comprehensive computer skills, such as word processing, e-mail, internet, spreadsheets, database management, and software applications, as required by department. Effective written and oral communication skills. Organizational and analytical skills. Supervisory skills including the ability to instruct, direct, and evaluate work of others. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting methods.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook Exchange, HMS Odyssey, WEBI, HR Banner.
