Physical Requirements

Repetitive motions typical of desk work: sitting/bending/typing/twisting; prolonged exposure to computer screen. and lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 25lbs.



Shift

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; and some evenings and weekends on an as needed basis.

To assist in actualizing our mission, we seek candidates for the position of Child Welfare Education (CWE) Academic Coordinator. This position’s job responsibilities are as follows:

Student Advising, Engagement, and Participant Support
  • Advise current and prospective students on program requirements, academic pathways, and child welfare career options.
  • Engage participants throughout their program journey using multiple communication channels (email, phone, virtual platforms).
  • Provide accurate, timely responses to participant inquiries, ensuring a high-quality experience at every point of contact.


Career Development Facilitation
  • Build and maintain relationships with child welfare agencies to create career and practicum opportunities for students.
  • Facilitate career readiness workshops focusing on key competencies required for the child welfare workforce.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide students with individualized career coaching, assistance with resume building, job search strategies, and interview preparation.


Experience Coordination
  • Stay informed on industry best practices in user experience (UX) and programmatic experience (PX) to optimize student engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify and address gaps in the program journey, ensuring a smooth and effective experience for students.
  • Lead and execute targeted campaigns designed to increase participant engagement, retention, and conversion rates within the child welfare education program.
  • Regularly assess user behavior and metrics to identify opportunities for journey improvement and lead generation.
  • Conduct program assessments and maintain consistent communication with students, alumni, and community partners to foster engagement.


Professional Standards and Organization Improvement
  • Consistently model excellent service to all stakeholders, including students, faculty, and community partners.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current in best practices, focusing on student well-being, belonging, and career success.
  • Contribute to organizational improvement initiatives that support programmatic goals and enhance the academic experience.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?

Preferred Education/Experience

MA, MS or higher academic degree preferred.

Obtain Slack Level I Certification within 6 months of hire – preferred.
