The base hourly rate for this position is $33.99

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department/Division:  Maintenance                 

Location:  Rockdale

Job Title:  AC&R Coordinator (Asset Care & Reliability Coordinator)

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Union

Reports to (Title):  Plant Engineer

Primary Purpose:   

The role of is position is to establish and maintain standards of Asset Care and Reliability best practices and procedures, while managing an active storeroom. This position reports to the Plant Engineer and maintains liaison activities between Production and Maintenance departments.

2.Duties and Responsibilities:  

Review and update maintenance practices and procedures, including predictive and preventative maintenance programs, and communicate these requirements clearly.

Participate in maintenance planning and scheduling meetings to determine work order priorities and communicate work order status.

Place orders with vendors for maintenance parts and supplies to meet plant needs and comply with SAP stocking requirements.

Maintains the storeroom in an order to minimize time and effort to retrieve parts needed and the removal of obsolete equipment.

Perform critical spare investment planning and maintain inventory accuracy via routine and spot check cycle counts.

Provide SAP training to maintenance employees.

3.    Education and Work Experience: 

2+ years of relevant experience in a comparable environment, or an associate degree or comparable qualification in a relevant discipline.

4.    Knowledge and Skills:

Solid – technical writing to develop training procedures, maintenance standard operating procedures, and preventative maintenance plans

Solid – presentation and communication skills to train employees on new processes and contact suppliers for needs.

Knowledge of maintenance strategies and processes

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships

Solid – computer skills (including MS Office and SAP)

Discretion and Independent Judgment

Develops preventative maintenance plans. Develops procedures to ensure equipment longevity. Participates in root cause analysis to determine if existing practices need to be changed. P.O.s under $500 Develops preventative maintenance plans in SAP Vendor communication and management.
