Job Summary
- ECTC is seeking an Administrative Assistant II, working title: Logistics Clerk to manage all aspects of shipping and receiving for postal and parcel, and maintain accurate records of college assets.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Tags new equipment upon receipt, enters items into the inventory management system, and produces asset management data annually; continuous involvement in the relocation of assets.
• Timely and accurate delivery and retrieval of mail and parcels; meter outgoing mail; print shipping labels; maintain accurate shipping records; inspect incoming parcels for damage.
• Process and deliver bulk mail to USPS; knowledgeable of bulk mail procedures/policy
• Assist with document shredder bins/pickup.
• Unlock office and classroom doors and turn on lights on campus; retrieve keys from drop box.
• Responsible for US & State Flags condition and position.
• Update the space management system by routinely reviewing and updating room records in Archibus software.
• Manage and oversee surplus inventory disposal and post surplus items on GovDeals.com auction website.
• Complete safety walk-through inspections for fire suppression systems, associated water risers, fire/security alarm panels and AED machines on a weekly basis; report concerns to Safety Operations Manager.
• Monitor door access database for campus safety and efficiency; knowledgeable of software to adjust building/door schedules as needed.
• Responsible for two-way radio locations, condition, and replacement.
• Issue and maintain parking passes.
• Inventory and restock paper around campus.
• Assist Safety Officer with campus events with barricades and directional signage.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree and 2-years experience or high school diploma and 4-years experience.
