Job Summary
The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is seeking a professional to join the Office of Philanthropy & Alumni. As Director of the Alumni Association, the successful candidate will serve as the primary entity for all alumni engagement activities and report to the Senior Director of Philanthropy & Alumni.
This role will oversee and execute strategic planning, communication, and alumni events/programming for the college’s nearly 25,000 alumni. In addition, this role will oversee the Board of Directors and be responsible for the management of all board functions. They will work closely with various stakeholders, leaders, faculty, and volunteers while attending programmatic meetings to represent alumni interests. Previous experience in alumni relations, fundraising, board management or related fields is preferred. Travel is expected.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Event management experience. Graphic and communications training.
Experience with InDesign and Adobe programs.

Bachelor’s degree plus five or more years related experience preferred.
