Job Summary
The Ambulatory Operations Specialist position performs analytical work and ambulatory operations practice review. This position is a key component to clinical practice analysis, issue resolution and process improvement. Prior clinic operations, performance improvement and project management experience preferred.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Clinic operations, meeting facilitation, process improvement, presentation development, Microsoft Office Suite. Data collection, review, analysis, and reporting and/or operations support. Take initiative to continuously develop knowledge base and skill level by participating in continuing education programs, trainings, classes and seminars. Identify and develop strategies to facilitate workflow improvements. Experience in workflow analysis, and healthcare operations. Experience in facilitating workflow improvements. Preferred Education/Experience
Masters in Health or Business Administration and/or experience in Process Improvement and clinical operations plus five or more years related experience. Experience in ambulatory clinic operations, analytics, process improvement and strong excel skills preferred.
