I n this entry-level management position, we are seeking individuals who are focused, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. As you embark on this exciting journey within our vibrant floral department, your responsibilities will include :

• Receiving, organizing, and rotating cut flowers, bouquets, and arrangements to ensure freshness and appeal
• Crafting simple yet elegant corsages, boutonnieres, and floral arrangements, showcasing your creative flair and expertise
• Operating cash registers and computer systems proficiently to process various forms of payment, including gift cards, checks, credits, and debits, as well as handling floral charges
• Assisting customers with placing orders for in-store purchases and deliveries, providing attentive and personalized service
• Arranging store merchandise thoughtfully to highlight our diverse selection of flowers, plants, and gifts, creating an inviting and visually appealing display
• roviding leadership, direction, and supervision to department associates, with a focus on training and development to ensure a high-performing team

Qualifications for Success:

• Demonstrate a genuine passion for floral arrangements and a commitment to delivering exceptional service with style and expertise.
• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments, including a 36-degree cooler, and tolerating high-pollen and seed-spore environments.
• Possess basic math and computer skills, enabling you to operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area, utilizing company-approved equipment and adhering to established protocols.
• Flexibility to accommodate a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, ensuring coverage during peak periods.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs of force occasionally
• Occasional: Sitting and climbing; frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and handling
• Frequent: Head turn, trunk bend, side reach, grasp, power grip, pinch, finger manipulation, & feel
• Constant - Stand, handling, & forward reach
