Job Description:

The Role

As an Associate Analyst on the Money Movement Controls team, you will analyze and process money movement transactions (i.e., Distributions, Journals), find solutions to customer requests, and ensure the timely review of all transactions requiring secondary review. Our role is to protect the assets of Fidelity’s customers across Personal Investments and National Financial Services through hands-on secondary review of transactions meeting threshold guidelines or set criteria.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Series 7 License required for the role and must be obtained within 6 months
  • Financial Services Operations or Phone Center experience preferred
  • Written and verbal communications skills for explaining ideas, questions and resolutions, and other internal and external business partner communications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly engaged environment
  • Exceptional analytical and problem resolution skills while being able to assess risk and interpret business requirements to provide viable solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly assess and prioritize multiple tasks, including reviewing customer money movement requests
  • Your ability to take initiative and to work under tight deadlines
  • Be technically oriented, with strong MS Office/PC skills
  • Ability to build and maintain business partner relationships
  • Motivated and show a desire to learn about business and new technologies
  • Be a standout colleague with capability to help support a positive work environment
  • Participating in various projects and operational improvement initiatives focused on improving the existing workflow, quality, efficiency, and policy & procedures

  • Keeping up to date with training courses as needed

The Team

Members of this group acquire an essential understanding of the financial services industry. These associates work in Fidelity’s Operations and Services Group (OSG), supporting our major lines of business including Wealth & Brokerage and Fidelity Institutional. You will work closely with clients and business partners to ensure money movement transactions are processed accurately and timely by providing final approval of transactions, completing trades to support transactions, and supporting IPO purchase requests.

The base salary range for this position is $47,000-$74,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
