This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in two dynamic environments.
What You’ll Do:

• Be a Food Hero: Support food recovery efforts from community partners.
• Get Creative: Assist in menu planning and meal preparation, prioritizing recovered/rescued foods.
• Spread Joy: Coordinate timely meal delivery to our adult living community living centers.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety, ensuring food and equipment meet sanitation standards.
• Stay Organized: Keep detailed records of food weight, temperatures, and volunteer shift attendance.
• Ensure Quality: Follow proper portioning, labeling, and packaging guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
• Team Up: Work with team members to execute a streamlined, efficient service process.
• Maintain Standards: Keep a clean and organized work environment, following food safety protocols.
• Deliver Smiles: Provide excellent customer service and assist with meal pick-up coordination and delivery.
