This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in two dynamic environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Be a Food Hero: Support food recovery efforts from community partners.
- Get Creative: Assist in menu planning and meal preparation, prioritizing recovered/rescued foods.
- Spread Joy: Coordinate timely meal delivery to our adult living community living centers.
- Keep It Clean: Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety, ensuring food and equipment meet sanitation standards.
- Stay Organized: Keep detailed records of food weight, temperatures, and volunteer shift attendance.
- Ensure Quality: Follow proper portioning, labeling, and packaging guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
- Team Up: Work with team members to execute a streamlined, efficient service process.
- Maintain Standards: Keep a clean and organized work environment, following food safety protocols.
- Deliver Smiles: Provide excellent customer service and assist with meal pick-up coordination and delivery.
