The position may require lifting or pushing objects up to 50lbs, or extended amounts of time walking.



Shift

Recurring 2-4 hour shifts, during operation hours (Monday – Friday 11:30a.m.-1:30 p.m. & Sunday – Friday 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.) Weekend special event opportunities are also available.



Job Summary

Event Supervisors are responsible for providing UK Students and the UK Community with quality customer service while providing information, controlling access, checking out equipment, and monitoring activity areas.

Facility staff maintain a safe environment by actively supervising activities and enforcing facility policies. Staff are trained to respond to emergencies according to the outlined Emergency Action Plans.

Event Supervisors help to maintain a clean facility by completing routine cleaning, performing trash collection duties, and completing other chores as assigned.


This position is also Federal Work-Study eligible, if you qualify.

Preferred Education/Experience

Event Supervisors will serve as a first responder. CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are required for Event Supervisors. Free certification classes will be available to all new employees who are not currently certified. Student employees are expected to maintain a current certification throughout their employment.
