We are looking for a Chemical Lab Technician who can efficiently manage the tasks necessary to support our Chemistry Lab. Primary Responsibilities
- Determines the physical and chemical properties of compounds and materials using quantitative and qualitative chemical analysis.
- Performs a variety of chemical tests using instrumental methods and standard test equipment.
- Sets up and maintains lab equipment.
- Follows established SOPs.
- Fulfills production work orders for reagent mixing and packaging for customer orders.
- Tracks inventory, prioritizes orders, maintains lab equipment and documenting the processes, observations and results during each chemical mix/test.
- Follows environmental regulations and reviews newly published safety protocols from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFRA).
- Conducts lab tests to ensure that chemicals are safe to use and records and troubleshoots issues for further assessment.
- Compiles and interprets lab test results and corrects potential anomalies in results in collaboration with Safety Manager and Lab Chemists.
- Monitors chemical processes and resolves production issues by meeting with the appropriate personnel.
- Produces and retrieves graphical results to share with lab managers or more senior personnel.
- Sterilizes work surfaces and equipment before using them and replacing worn or damaged equipment as needed.
- Trains new technicians on different chemical processes and periodically updates personal knowledge of chemical technology.
- Other duties as required.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum associate’s degree in chemistry, science or equivalent.
- Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States.

Working Environment and Physical Conditions
- Computer system data terminal
- On-site, normal office environment and minimum physical activity
Total Rewards:
Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data and internal benchmarks.
- Hourly Range: $25-$29
