Overview

This position is in support of a government agency in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. The position involves cloud architecture design and develop, cloud orchestration, and DevSecOps pipeline maintenance within an established MS Azure Cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the production environment (k8s, Openshift, VMWare PKS Essentials, etc.)
  • Ensure all new software functions operate smoothly across various programs and platforms.
  • Meet with managers and government representatives to discuss software issues and brainstorm methods of solving existing problems. 
  • Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements. 
  • Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended. 
  • Update and debug existing systems to ensure a smooth user experience and a uniform look across a variety of platforms.
  • Keep up to date on the native services and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our cloud instances.

Qualifications

Required

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Demonstrated experience designing cloud architectures
  • Demonstrated experience building, maintaining and troubleshooting robust DevSecOps infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience with containerization
  • Demonstrated experience with automated test and scan tools
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph required

Desired

  • Demonstrated experience with mutiple cloud service providers
  • Demonstrated experience with IIS and Nginx
  • Demonstrated experience with authentication and authorization systems and standards
  • Demonstrated experience with web security standards
  • Demonstrated experience with network systems and protocols
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s security requirements
