Job Summary

As Commissioning Engineer, you are responsible for the commissioning of our mobile automated solution at the customer site. In this role you will be part of our implementation team where you will utilize our most advanced products to ensure customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparation and on-site commissioning of mobile automated solutions for our customers including the configuration of electronic components (PLCs, sensors etc.).
  • Assisting the interface set up with the Automation Engineer during acceptance testing.
  • Conducting on-site training for the AGV’s and systems.
  • Cross functional collaboration with Automation Engineers, Software Engineers, Project team, Solutions team as well as Sales.
  • On-site and remote troubleshooting.
  • Ensure that all safety and compliance standards are met, SOP’s, safety site checklist, OSHA regulations etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Experience & Education

  • Degree in Electronical/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or min. 2 years professional work experience in a relevant field
  • Experience in PLC programming and working with CAD systems
  • Read and understand complex wiring schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Trouble shooting experience
  • Experience with diagnostic software is preferred
  • Field experience is an advantage
  • Professional work experience in intralogistics or material handling equipment preferred
  • Experience with Kollmorgen software suite is preferred
