How will you make an impact in this role?
The Compliance Analyst will support Amex Aviation in a variety of functions within the Business Administration team, focusing on vendor management processes and projects, driven by financial and operational needs, as identified by the Director, Business Administration.This position is an integral part of the Aviation Business Administration team, operating in a dynamic environment that requires seamless collaboration, technical expertise, and coordination across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The Compliance Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders within Aviation, and, within the enterprise, aligning Aviation’s vendor/third party management needs with corporate supplier management processes.The Analyst will be responsible for a variety of activities and will participate in projects that will ensure execution of overall strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the vendor management process for aviation, ensuring alignment with corporate requirements for vendor onboarding from Global Supply Management (GSM) and the Third-Party Management (TLM) process, orders, service agreements, contracts, and service risk assessments.
- Ongoing monitoring of in-scope vendors which includes performance metrics reporting, periodic questionnaire completion, and due diligence evidence collection.
- Partners with key Third-Party Management (TLM) and Risk partners to ensure compliance with vendor management and third-party management processes.
- Participation in Third-Party Relationship Management (TRM) training and roundtable discussion.
- Participation in Process Risk Self-Assessment (PRSA) process including review and testing.
- Support the reconciliation and expense process to ensure timely data capture and categorization of fuel costs.
- Coordination with aviation team members on key department invoices and expense tracking.
- Drives or assists in special projects and other duties as delegated.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years relevant experience.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong interpersonal/collaborating skills.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to think ‘end-to-end’; lead/drive initiatives through completion.
- Able to work independently and thrive in an environment of frequently shifting priorities.
- Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and with strong attention to detail and timely follow-up.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and analysis (invoice analysis and contract spend).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business related area of study, project management, and/or combination of work experience.
- Vendor management, risk management and audit experience are a plus.
- Knowledge of Aviation industry is a plus.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
