The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Customer Service Rep 3 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Women, Infants, & Children Division.

This is a grant funded position.

Job Responsibilities

Under broad supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and recommendations targeted to meet customer expectations. Resolves complicated issues involving customer service and/or researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

  • Determines income and categorical eligibility for the WIC program for all WIC applicants in accordance with the polices and procedures for GA WIC. 
  • Conducts eligibility interviews for GA WIC and collects income and residency proof for applicants and uploads supporting documents into document imaging system. 
  • Provides clients with WIC program Rights and Obligations.
  • Acts as clinic liaison between clinic and management staff. 
  • Assigns daily duties to other staff in multi-CSR clinic.
  • Assesses various monthly reports and assigns processing of reports by staff. 
  • Closes and opens daily WIC schedule as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience in a customer service setting communicating information; 
or 
two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 2 (GST121).

Preferred Qualifications
3 years of experience working in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program at lower level Customer Representative Representative

Fulton County Board of Health accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered.
