Position Summary:
As a Customer Supply Chain Specialist at Just Born, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless order management process—from receiving orders to coordinating delivery and payment.
Your commitment to internal and external collaboration and communication will be essential in providing accurate and fair product, pricing, and delivery information to our diverse customer base.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
How You’ll Impact Results:
- Order Processing & Accuracy:
- Process and review customer orders received through various channel
- Ensure alignment with pricing and promotional guideline
- Prioritize and coordinate shipping schedules with transportation and warehouse teams, aiming to meet or exceed accuracy goals
- Verify and process special pricing requests, ensuring compliance with company programs and timely system setup.
- Stay informed about company products, pricing, discounts, and service guidelines to deliver accurate and helpful customer support.
- Issue Resolution & Order Holds:
- Address and resolve order discrepancies by working with customers and brokers
- Communicate order holds, and collaborate internally to release orders efficiently
- Customer Communication & Delivery Support:
- Provide proactive updates on delays, stock-outs, or missed shipments, and assist customers with delivery issues.
- Manage backorders and shipment cuts, ensuring timely and clear communication.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Professionally handle customer service calls, providing solutions and exceeding service goals. Support the Consumer Relations team as needed, maintaininghigh standards of customer care.
- Returns & Credits:
- Manage product returns and customer credits, collaborating with Distribution and Finance to ensure accuracy
- Continuous Improvement:
- Act with a continuous improvement mindset consistently reviewing processes & recommending best practices
- Support a cohesive team environment by offering encouragement and constructive feedback.
- Address conflicts directly and work towards shared success.
Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in customer or consumer service experience required
- Prior experience/exposure to supply chain, distribution, inventory management, transportation, or shipping is highly preferred
- High focus on providing high level customer service with the ability to collaborate and communicate internally and externally
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, competing priorities, and high attention to detail
