Director of Enrollment and Reporting

This is a key position within the School of Professional Studies, responsible for directing the Admission & Enrollment Services team and the Application & Reporting Services team who effectively support all programs offered including Executive Programs, Pre-College, Summer Session and Visiting Student programs.

 - The area serves multiple student populations across varied academic programs and levels.  The area is responsible for all SPS admissions, enrollment, student communications, data reporting and systems support and implementations. 

 - Systems currently include Salesforce, CollegeNet (admissions application service), TargetX, DocuSign, TouchNet, Banner, Cognos, Oracle Identity Manager, Pardot, Sevis, Workday and other legacy systems. 

 - The position requires advanced technical knowledge and oversight of all systems. The incumbent works closely with SPS senior management, program directors and with a number of campus administrative and technical departments to manage and enhance systems that ensure seamless delivery of service to students and effective dashboard reporting to program and senior leadership. This position ensures that all University policies and procedures related to enrollment and academic credit are maintained.


Major responsibilities include:

Directs the operations of all SPS admission, enrollment services, data management and reporting. 

  • Directly responsible for systems upgrades, new application and system implementations and integrations for Banner, Salesforce, TargetX and other systems as they relate to SPS operations. Provides clear leadership for all problem solving related to enrollment and data reporting system.
  • Work with SPS senior leadership and CIS to establish and implement short and long term organizational goals, policies and operational procedures.  Assist in the development, documentation and planning of new initiatives. Oversee administrative and system planning.         
  • Oversight of the For-Credit program admission and registration process. Ensure that SPS is in alignment with policies set forth by the Graduate School and the Office of the Registrar. These programs include Executive Masters programs, Summer Session and the Visiting Student program.



  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years related experience, preferably in higher education setting, or the equivalent combination of experience and education required
  • Experience leading or managing a system implementation or significant technical project.
  • Management experience required.
  • Experience working with large scale ERP systems and CRM applications, prefer direct experience with Banner, Salesforce, TargetX, CollegeNet, TouchNet but will consider experience with comparable applications.
  • Proven track record of developing, maintaining and providing training to support staff (individually and in group settings) on use of various computer applications including large data systems
  • Evidence of writing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Direct experience with large scale system implementation and upgrades
  • Excellent organizational and logic skills
  • Excellent communication skills across all media
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and communicate projects, priorities and goals
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps for Education.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a high-volume, changing work environment.
