The Role:
We're seeking a Director of Product Strategy, Brokerage Alternatives to manage key initiatives for the growth of self-directed Alternative Investment offerings within our Brokerage business. This role will lead key strategic initiatives to significantly expand customer adoption and drive substantial asset flows.
Vision and Roadmap Development: Leads the development and iteration of the strategic roadmap to optimize and meet customer and market needs.
Market Engagement: Provides market-facing insights and commentary through partnerships with business development, relationship management, and client service teams.
Competitive Landscape: Leads competitive research on key market participants and builds strategic partnerships with them.
Business Planning & Execution: Builds comprehensive business plans, including revenue modeling, pricing, and expense projections, while prioritizing, sequencing, and phasing deliverables, and defining go-to-market strategies with compelling value propositions.
Product Delivery Leadership: Partners with the Delivery Organization to deliver alternatives offerings, features, and concepts to market, targeted to diverse customer segments.
Cross-Enterprise Collaboration: Leads cross-enterprise business unit alignment for product readiness and deployment of brokerage alternatives, establishing project plans and managing them throughout their lifecycle.
Market & Regulatory Insights: Communicates strategic insights on regulatory and legislative trends, and their impact on the client/customer experience.
The Skills and Expertise You Bring
5-10 years of experience in Product Strategy or Consulting roles within financial services.
Experience with the Alternatives markets or relevant brokerage experience with similar investment vehicles.
Experience engaging with senior internal and external customers and partners.
Experience leading teams and working collaboratively across a matrixed organization.
Experience defining strategic roadmaps and leading the development of solutions and offerings aligned with and in support of the strategic direction of the business.
Continuous improvement approach and encourage and enable an agile way of working.
Series 7 is preferred but not required.
The Team:
This role reports to VP, Product Strategy, Brokerage Alternatives and is part of the Brokerage Customer and Product strategy organization responsible for commercializing our brokerage offering to drive growth within the self-directed investing markets and customer segments. The team defines the Liquid and Illiquid Alternatives strategy and collaborates closely with Enterprise Partners, Delivery, Marketing, and Distribution teams to ensure seamless execution. The team has in-depth expertise in Alternative Investments.
The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$169,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
