DIRECTOR, SALES OPERATIONS

We are currently seeking a Director, Sales Operations to join our team.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leadership and direction of the Sales Operations Group encompassing New Client Sales, Sales Support & Administration and Sales Incentives and Compensation. The position is also responsible for directing the overall sales strategy by leading the team that is a centralized resource for all sales units. This position directs the overall integration points from marketing, sales, service and product teams in order to execute a single vision process that supports all sales teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Develops initiatives that drive continued improvement to managed functions consistent with business strategy and responsive to sales needs. Builds and strengthens collaborative working relationships with other Insperity constituents.

•    Develops the leadership and technical skills of direct reports and overall team through demonstrated leadership, development, planning and performance management.

•    Develops and adheres to Sales Operations Team annual budget.

•    Directs the development of efficient processes for prospective clients to come on board with Insperity through New Client Sales. Directs the end of the month booking process and reporting needs for all sales team.

•    Directs projects from inception, to implementation and through execution of sales initiatives.

•    Directs processes from sold to paid for both WO and WX bundles.

•    Directs corporate sales communication of processes, procedural changes and recognition programs.

•    Directs the development of sales compensation and incentive programs while working closely with Corporate HR and sales leadership to develop programs that drive the desired behaviors producing sales results.

•    Selects, implements, and maintains corporate sales communications and content management applications and tools.

•    Works with Corporate HR and Auditors to establish and maintain compliance standards.

•    Works directly with other departments to understand and direct the WO and WX sales model and evaluate cross selling functions and ensure process optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field is required.

•    Ten plus years of work-related experience is required.

•    Ability to understand the business context and develops plans to achieve competitive advantage.

•    Ability to interpret, analyze, and apply company policies, objectives, and procedures including developing, organizing and implementing new policies and processes.

•    Ability to appropriately utilize effective methods for dealing with human behavior situations and conflict in a variety of business circumstances.

•    Ability to independently plan, organize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions and judgments relating to assigned projects and other responsibilities as well as analyze, review and edit information consistent with operational standards.

•    Must have the ability to anticipate and avoid problems and to negotiate effectively.

•    Demonstrates analytical, statistical and critical thinking skills.

•    Ability to effectively recruit, supervise, and motivate staff to attain positive performance. Must have the ability to assess operational, staffing and fiscal needs and to manage those resources.

•    Demonstrated collaboration and interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the organization.

•    Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate concisely and effectively with peers, senior leadership, internal customers, and outside vendors.

•    Has a sound knowledge of system design, development and effective testing methods.

•    Travels: yes, up to 30% of time
