The Role

In this high-impact role supporting our Talent organization, you will lead strategic research initiatives that inform and shape talent strategies, helping to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring our workforce is future-ready. As a key member of the Talent Strategy, Programs, and Analytics team, you will collaborate with Talent leaders and HR business partners to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities. Together, you will develop and execute a research agenda that uncovers workforce trends, talent practices, and labor market dynamics. Your work will guide executive decision-making and drive innovative, evidence-based talent strategies and solutions that enhance our candidate experience and elevate associate career vitality.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Experience: 10+ years in strategic research, competitive intelligence, thought leadership, or a relevant field
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Research and Analytical Skills: Proficient in gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing complex data on companies, markets, industries, competitors, and trends to drive actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Research Methodologies: Experienced in designing and implementing primary research (surveys, focus groups, interviews) and conducting secondary research (using public and proprietary data) to gather customer, market, industry, and competitive insights
- Content Creation and Management: Skilled in creating and delivering high-quality content such as white papers, research briefs, and presentations
- Storytelling: Exceptional ability to synthesize data into impactful narratives that influence and educate senior executives
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies relevant to Fidelity
- Leadership and Relationship Management: Strong leadership and relationship management skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external experts
- Curiosity and Innovation: Driven by curiosity, continuously seeking to understand and analyze data, and nurturing intellectual and social curiosity
- Self-Motivation and Initiative: Ability to work independently, plan, and execute initiatives with a bias towards action.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Passion for tackling complex challenges with data, research, and strategic insights
- Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management skills, working cross-functionally with senior business leaders and subject matter experts
- Proactive Monitoring: Providing market insights and analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Data Analysis Skills: Competent in manipulating large data sets with a versatile set of data analysis and technical skills
- Technology & Tools: Hands-on experience with various technologies, analytics platforms, and market intelligence tools; experience with people/talent analytics and labor market data is a plus

The critical work you lead will be instrumental in driving our Talent organization's objectives, streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and elevating the experiences of both candidates and associates within Fidelity.
