About the role:
Use Engineering PLM System to manage the release, storage & distribution of MLA engineering documentation. Ensure all Engineering change orders/notices are processed in the PLM System, and the PLM and ERP data are in sync. Support the organization teams for engineering documentation, and create/update Engineering processes and procedures documentation. Windchill and Creo Business Administration responsibilities: user/groups setup/maintenance, accounts setup, workflow updates, license usage, training, and issues resolutions. Manage PLM and ERP system reports. Track Engineering vendors’ and contractors’ use and billing. Follow records retention policy to maintain Engineering documentation.
What you will do:
- Work with engineers on current and new product designs, and maintain information regarding changes to documentation, databases, and logs. Manage data directed by ECO, TMR, or general maintenance. Release engineering documentation (Engineering, Modification, and Trial Orders) from ML or MLA through Windchill and send the information to the appropriate MLA people for distribution or review. Ensure Windchill and ERP data are in sync.
- Windchill/Creo System and Business Administration: help users to resolve Windchill/Creo-related issues, set up new users, monitor the status of Windchill during working days, and be the window person with IT when their support is required to resolve Windchill/Creo issues. Manage Windchill objects, workflow updates, groups/users, and license usage. Support PLM System upgrades and updates.
- Manage Engineering Admin Projects. Keep engineering processes and procedures documentation up to date. Coordinate training for Engineering teams.
- Provide prompt support to MLA personnel requesting information about engineering documents such as EOs, MOs, TOs, drawings, ECOs, TMRs, WTParts, etc. Update Engineering logs and manage/provide Engineering PLM and ERP reports (Power BI, Excel).
- Run weekly Engineering Control meetings. Follow the records retention policy to maintain Engineering documentation as the Engineering department representative for records retention (DRR).
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree: Computer Tech, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Full experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.), and excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent technical writing skills for process documentation, training, and maintaining system technical documentation
- PTC Windchill/Creo System and Business Administration experience or PTC Certifications
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD systems and data management. Ideally Creo
- Knowledge of Product Development Processes, Engineering Design tools as well as IT processes
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and change management experience. Ideally Windchill
- Understanding of PLM and ERP systems, including items/parts, BOMs, and engineering documents
What would be nice to have:
- PTC Creo Parametric experience or PTC Creo Certification
- ERP LX (BPCS) or/and Microsoft Dynamics AX or/and SAP S/4HANA experience
- Microsoft Power BI experience or certification
- CAPM or PMP Certification
- Programming skills

The salary for this position ranges from $76,147 to $85,251 annually plus an additional bonus. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
