About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an ERP Data Migration Specialist. This role is critical in the context of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) migration project, where the specialist would be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the migration of data from legacy systems including Infor BPCS/LX and Dynamics AX to the new SAP system. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional process leads, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure accurate data cleansing, transformation, and loading into the SAP environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data migration, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate work with business data owners, process leads, IT managers, and other SMEs to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate current state of master and transactional datasets to be migrated.
  • Plan and execute data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities.
  • Develop and implement validation and testing strategies to verify data correctness post-conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with process teams to establish and enforce policies, standards, and rules for Master Data Governance


When & Where:

  • Works regular business hours with occasional night or weekend work required depending on project demands or system down time.
  • Some travel to other MLA sites to support business initiatives.



What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7-10 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices for ERP systems.
  • Expertise in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and transformation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
  • Experience in migrating data from legacy systems such as Infor LX, Dynamics AX 2012 R2, and CRM to SAP ERP.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, master data management, data mapping, and conversion rules.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve data-related issues promptly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining data quality standards. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Contributes to overall migration plan from technical / architecture end and leads high-level and low-level architecture design.


What would be nice to have:

  • Ability to study and understand ERP source systems, specifically SAP, to derive appropriate data architecture models.
  • Experience performing data profiling, automated testing, and applying analytical techniques to identify and understand anomalies.
  • Experience creating testing methodologies, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience creating and maintaining a consistent technical architecture along with standards, policies, procedures, measures and organizational enhancements.

  • Ability to lead technical/architectural challenges/troubleshooting in projects to find appropriate solutions.

The pay for this position ranges from $94,129 to $110,397 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
