Become an ERP Modernization - Information Technology, Process and Data Intelligence, Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job you’ll contribute to NextGen ERP digital transformation by leading the deployment of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence capabilities. NextGen ERP is a large, complex multi-year program designed to transform the way the electric utility operates. This critical strategic program leverages advanced technology innovations, such as machine learning, business process intelligence capabilities to enable an enterprise-wide future-focused business transformation.
Key Focus:
- SAP BPI Lead: Lead the Signavio Business Process Intelligence tools and capabilities deployment and adoption supporting the NextGen ERP transformation program. Analyze technical and process requirements to enable system and data integration between SCE’s application landscape and the Signavio solutions platform.
- Process Analysis: Lead and manage process mining use cases, generate insights from Process Intelligence, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- BPMN Configuration: Lead the design and configuration of Signavio process data mining tools. Defines standards, principles and the governance framework for process mining methodologies and capabilities.
- Data Engineering: Provide senior level data management/ engineering expertise and advance analytics enablement – visualization, RPA, AI/ML.
- Data Integration: Deploy system and data integrations between SCE on premise/cloud applications and SAP Signavio solutions, using advanced ETL concepts, including custom data connectors and API-based data connectors.
- Requirements Gathering: Translate business requirements and technical requirements into configurations and customizations of Signavio solutions.
- Business Transformation: Advise Process Owners and Process Leads on how to leverage the Signavio Business Process Intelligence capability suite to operationalize continuous process transformation. You will serve as the internal consultant and SME on the Signavio process mining capabilities and methodologies.
- Process Intelligence PM: Collaborate with internal and external customers, teammates and practitioners to contribute to BPMN and Signavio knowledgebase, as well as to developing/ implementing methodologies and standard processes. Monitor and report on process performance metrics and KPIs.
- Process Intelligence SME: Deliver training and support to NextGen team members on the use of Signavio Process Intelligence tools. Act as an advisor and mentor to Technology Integration Signavio and technical team resources providing guidance and motivation.

Responsibilities
- Defines architecture blueprint for end-to-end systems including integration of applications systems, platforms and technical infrastructure at the portfolio and solutions architecture levels.
- Carries out the intake scoping of solution concepts and initial cost estimation system architecture definition at the logical level
- Proactively seeks solutions and deploys recommendations to resolve architectural problems related to any IT domain, including Business, Apps, Data, Security, Server, Networks or Storage
- Aligns with Business and Systems Analysts to understand the business requirements and create the corresponding blueprint for implementing various technology components of a new system
- Leads to the solution strategy and architecture including identification of core components necessary to meet functional requirements and desired systems characteristics
- Ties architectural vision together across portfolios and major business initiatives programs
- Manages the design and documentation of solutions within standards defined by the enterprise architecture team
- Coordinates closely with solution engineering development teams and vendors to ensure that a coherent and consistent approach to implementation of the specified solution architecture is achieved
- Analyzes the technology domains and develops market assessments and roadmaps to inform and evolve strategic execution
- Ensures all solutions adhere to enterprise IT principles and utility industry standards and regulations
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of designing and developing IT architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ten (10) or more years of experience related to SAP ERP or other ERPs, serving as an IT Architect or Data Architect.
- Five (5) or more years of experience with data transformation / data analytics implementing Big Data, BI/Analytics, and Process Mining.
- Five (5) or more years of experience and deep technical knowledge with SQL and database technologies, ETL and programming (Java, Python, etc.)
- Seven (7) or more years of experience with various database systems, consuming, performing process mining activities.
- Five (5) or more years of experience gathering business requirements and performing data and system flow analysis in support of business process improvement efforts.
- Experience and deep understanding of SAP ERP business processes, spanning one or more of the following business process domains: Finance, Time Management, Payroll, Logistics, Supply Planning, Procurement, Work Management, Asset Management, etc., and their typical improvement opportunities.
- One (1) or more years of experience with BPMN tools such as ARIS, Celonis, Signavio, etc.
- Experience and familiarity with business process management and modeling standards, such as BPMN 2.0.
- Experience presenting data findings to stakeholders, including top management.
- Experience with SAP ERP and/or S4 HANA data models is a plus.
- Experience involving the execution of at least 1 or more full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations as a System Analyst or Functional/ Process Analyst.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience serving as a Data Engineer.
- One or more of the following certification(s):
- BPM certification(s)
- Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt) certification(s)
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Signavio certification
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Business Process Integration S/4 HANA
- SQL or equivalent certification
- SAP Certified Associate Data Engineer – Data Fabric
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- The primary work location for this position is Pomona, CA.. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time in the field throughout the SCE service territory.

Salary range
- $165,800 - $248,800 per year
