Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $32.00.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull all system P&IDs to ensure we have a full system identification
- All lines, instrumentation, fans, pumps, valves, major components, etc.
- Including the control systems (DCS and PLC hardware and software with revision level).
- Ensure that all utility systems are included – power, water, air steam, etc.
- From the P&ID’s, ensure that SAP has the system complete with functional location.
- Ensure that the functional locations breakdown into the BOM.
- Review the BOM and ensure we have identified the critical components.
- Review the stock level of all critical spares and ensure is correct and we have a spare and know where it is.
- Review the PM assigned to critical components and ensure it is sufficient.
- Proper filing of documentation
- Perform Audits of work performed, ensuring comments, time and parts are being recorded for historical records.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are being documented well.
- Safety and other training up to date and documented.
- Identify now components and create item masters/safety stock as part of rebuilds or capital projects.
- Consolidate and organize satellite maintenance storage areas as part of 5S initiative.
- Lead 5S Projects
- Lead Maintenance related Safety Initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Understanding of general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles for plant production processes.
- Working knowledge of file structure, naming conventions, and use of Windows Explorer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree.
- Experience executing small engineering projects preferred.
