Shift

Weekday hours can start as early as 7:30 am. Our workdays end at 4:00 pm on Thursday,. We work in rotation until 7:00 pm.





Job Summary

As a crewmember on the CSA project, you will assist in all aspects of the daily farm operation, as directed by the CSA Manager. The job requires an excellent work ethic, ability to work well with a team, and strong communication skills. Specific tasks may include:

•Field preparation, propagation, cultivation, maintenance, and harvest that may require heavy lifting

•Rotate with other staff members in delivery of the share to campus or in staffing the farm pick-up.

•Participate, as needed, in farm activities not directly related to the CSA (research projects, facilities management, tours, etc.) This job will be on-site at the Horticulture Research Farm’s Organic Farming Unit, located 4 miles from main campus. Candidate must provide own transportation. Workers primarily work outside.
