Hospice Nurse Practitioner

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is currently hiring a PRN Hospice Nurse Practitioner (NP).

"PRN" employees do not have a set schedule and should be available to provide care in clients' homes.

What will I do?

The Hospice Nurse Practitioner (NP) visits patients to perform face to face assessments and evaluate hospice eligibility as assigned in consultation with the hospice interdisciplinary team.

What do I need for this role?

• Current NP License in the State of Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with hospice or palliative care.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and relief of an obstructed airway.
• Valid Driver's License and insurance. 
• Willing and able to drive to private homes in greater Virginia Beach area to perform the requirements associated with this position.
