HR Coordinator
Position Summary
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for key HR duties including bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll and benefits audits, managing employee files, preboarding and onboarding, handling employee status, terminations and salary / benefit allocation changes, employee service and appreciation tracking and communication, and responding to the HR mailbox and ticketing applications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the HR Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Processes and oversees all preboarding and onboarding requirements for positions across Proliance by ensuring all new hires are entered into our HRIS accurately with all required documentation, including background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Enter all IT ticketing requirements to ensure new hire is set up with appropriate technology.
- Executes bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly benefits and HR audits.
- Manages employee files in the HRIS system. Creating and managing an overall file structure for employee and company HR data.
- Supports open enrollment activities.
- Assists in handling employee status, terminations, and salary / benefit allocation changes.
- Provides support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed on various projects, including employee orientation and candidate outreach programs.
- Provides support with our employee service and appreciation programs, including creating employee service and appreciation emails.
- Responds to the HR inbox / ticketing tool – triaging requests that require targeted HR knowledge.
- Supports training and development requirements in Relias (Learning management system).
- Answers employee questions around the Teammate Handbook.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
- “All other duties as assigned.”
Education/Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience preferred
- 1+ years of HR experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- SHRM- CP or PHR certification preferred

Work is performed in an office environment. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to talk or hear. The teammate is required to sit for long periods of time, stand and walk, bend and stretch. Use of telephone and computer is required. Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.

Salary range
- $25 - $46 per hour
