Position Purpose:

At Veolia, we are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and functionality of our instrumentation and control systems. Your expertise will support optimal performance and safety of our operations, playing a crucial role in our continued success and innovation in the water and wastewater sector.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical instrumentation.
  • Calibrate instrumentation equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues related to sensors, detectors, and system controls.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to improve system efficiencies.
  • Document processes and maintain records for compliance and analysis.
  • Stay current with advances in instrumentation technology.


Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Solid understanding of electronic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Willingness to work in diverse environments and adapt to varying conditions.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
  • Low Voltage License is required.
