Qualifications:
NJ Principal Certification - Standard
Three (3) years of minimum experience in teaching, curriculum development and school administration experience
Ability to analyze and interpret data to make school change
Strong communicator - written and verbal
Able to structure, plan and deliver professional development
Forward-thinking, open-minded, reflective and organized
Approach daily work through the lens of achievement for all students
Up-to-date with current educational research and pedagogy
Knowledge of NJSLS standards
Operates from a student centered perspective
Community and family engagement
Labor management collaborative support
Operations management
Extra duty assignments as assigned by Director of Elementary Education or Superintendent

*In accordance with S-414/A-3188 (http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2018/Bills/S0500/414_R2.HTM), school districts, charter schools, nonpublic schools, and contracted service providers (“employers”) are required to review the last twenty years of employment history of prospective employees to ascertain allegations of child abuse or sexual misconduct. It explicitly prohibits such employers from hiring a person serving in a position which involves regular contact with students unless the employer conducts a review of the employment history of the applicant by contacting former and current employers and requesting information regarding child abuse and sexual misconduct allegations.
