Position Summary:
Join our team as a Maintenance Planner! In this role you will report to the Maintenance Planning & Reliability Manager and will play a key role in enhancing equipment reliability, optimizing production uptime, and reducing downtime. This position is perfect for someone passionate about planning, coordination, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
How You’ll Impact Results:
· Plan Maintenance Activities: Develop detailed preventative maintenance job plans, prioritize tasks, and schedule resources for preventive and corrective maintenance.
· Optimize Resources: Collaborate with teams to allocate work hours, technicians, source materials, and collaborate cross-functionally to schedule downtime efficiently.
· Manage Inventory & Records: Monitor parts inventory, maintain accurate maintenance documentation, and update CMMS (Cribmaster) records.
· Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis and improve maintenance workflows to enhance equipment reliability.
· Ensure Safety & Compliance:
o Promotes a strong food safety culture meeting and/or exceeding regulatory requirements and Just Born quality standards utilizing continuous improvement methodologies in the assigned area of responsibility.
o Assumes responsibility for inspection, identification, follow-up and correction of all sanitation issues in assigned areas
o Incorporate safety procedures into maintenance plans and ensure adherence to environmental and regulatory standards.
Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Experience: 3+ years required in maintenance planning, preferably in manufacturing or facilities maintenance.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CMMS software (e.g., Cribmaster, Infor EAM, SAP PM, Maximo) and MS Office
- Strong understanding of maintenance principles, preventive / predictive maintenance, asset reliability, and inventory management.
- Familiarity and understanding of inventory management best practices & procurement of equipment and materials
- Attributes:
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- Analytical thinker with the ability to participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analyses
Preferred Certifications:
- Maintenance Planning (e.g., CMRP) or safety training (e.g., OSHA).
