Global Brand Content & Platforms (GBC&P) Team sits within GABM. The team mission is to bring modern American Express Membership to life for premium prospects around the world through breakthrough content, multi-channel platforms and Enterprise tools – delivering long-lasting results for the Brand and Enterprise.
We are seeking a Manager of Content Process Strategy & Operations, to be a key member of the Global Brand Content & Platforms (GBC&P) Team. This role reports into the Director of Celebrity & Influencer Programming. The individual will play a critical role in overseeing strategy, operations, and process excellence across Brand Content, Brand Platforms, & Celebrity & Influencer Talent Programming. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn about Brand Content and Talent Partnerships and will provide great exposure to wide-ranging strategic marketing initiatives.
Interest in operations, process, and strategy is a pre-requisite. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across groups and band levels. This role requires someone who can roll up their sleeves to problem solve, build new solutions, and drive process efficiencies
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with GABM Operations & Enablement, Control Management, GSM, GCO, Compliance, Privacy on compliance & strategic related initiatives
- Management and oversight of operations initiatives on behalf of the GBC&P Team:
- Creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation and updates
- Creation, testing, and ownership of Process Risk Self Assessments (PRSA)
- Liaise between GABM Operations and Enablement team and Global Brand Content & Platforms Team to support key review processes including Forum for Initiative Governance (FIG)
- Ensure creative compliance via quarterly control assertion requests from Control Management Team and developing Marketing Force scorecard for team
- Support launch of Celebrity & Influencer COE operations, including creation and development of new compliance controls and governance and ongoing reporting
- Create GBC&P operations reporting and dashboard to keep leadership aware of project statuses and risk, escalating as appropriate
- Document key processes and upskill GBC&P Team through creation and presentation of trainings
- Define and document team operating standards and governance structure
- Support additional strategic projects across team as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent relationship management skills across all levels of management
- Strong attention to detail and end-to-end thinking ability
- Strategic problem solver with an ability to learn quickly, “connect the dots”, innovate, and drive results
- Comfort working in “white space” and translating business challenges into solutions
- Proven track record in managing multiple workstreams, partners, and cross-functional teams
- Works well under pressure, collaborative team player
- Exemplary communicator, both in-person and in presentation, with the ability to translate data in a clear and compelling manner
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Prior experience in operational excellence, compliance, or risk strongly preferred
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
