Salary Range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000. Salary Range is based on Experience and Education levels.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Medical Science Liaison,

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supports the commercial team's activities from a clinical perspective, ensuring clinicians fully comprehend Castle's test offerings. This role primarily involves preparing and delivering scientific presentations both locally and nationally. Additionally, the expert will identify, develop, and sustain long-term collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders. They will also plan and execute field-based activities in coordination with their assigned area manager and regional business directors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced degree including, but not limited to, MD, Ph.D., PharmD, RPh
• Minimum of 5 years of previous MSL experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Melanoma, Oncology, or Diagnostics
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter, the autonomous experience of working in a start-up environment.
• High level of scientific and clinical acumen
• Understanding of regulatory framework and compliance in interacting with the medical community
• Actively display characteristics that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences, Inc.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• This is a field-based position with a non-consistent schedule, including some evening and weekend engagements, as well as required overnight and weekend travel.

SCHEDULE/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Travel expectation is 50-60% with several overnights.
