LOCATION: This is a full-time, Remote position. Lexitas provides a fully equipped home office setup, including a company-issued laptop.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lexitas is seeking a National Billing Manager to lead our billing team in delivering accurate, timely, and client-focused invoicing across our nationwide operations. In this role, you’ll oversee account assignments, maintain invoicing protocols, and ensure compliance with client-specific requirements. You will serve as the key escalation point for billing concerns, collaborating with the Billing Director and Senior Director of Operations to drive performance and profitability. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the billing team by assigning accounts, monitoring workload, and driving daily invoicing performance.
  • Manage shared folders, contracts, and files for national business units.
  • Create, update, and maintain rate groups, rate cards, and billing profiles.
  • Execute monthly direct bill invoice issuance in line with client requirements.
  • Track billing metrics and backlog to meet budget needs.
  • Partner with Account Management, Corporate Accounting, and other departments to resolve client billing questions and support collections.
  • Oversee client communications, including copy orders, online repositories, and invoice redirections.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and escalate concerns to leadership as needed.
  • Run weekly resource pay and maintain billing team schedules.
  • Support special projects, rebilling needs, and cross-team collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Billing, ideally in a multi-function or multi-geography environment.
  • Proven success in designing, building, and managing end-to-end processes.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is a supervisor position.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
