Description: 

The Department of the Humanities, a part of the College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences, seeks applications for a part-time (adjunct) position as Lecturer of History to begin January 2025. Successful candidates will possess previous experience in teaching History at the collegiate level. The current need is to teach introductory-level World Civilizations. Courses are scheduled to run MWF 9:05-9:55 and 10:10-11:00, respectively. Courses will meet in person in Reading, PA. There may be possibility to teach courses in the successful candidate’s field of expertise and interest in future semesters on a schedule that would be planned with the candidate.  

Eligibility: 

Applicants must hold an MA in History or a closely related field, PhD preferred.
