Job Summary

The Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology Jacksboro is accepting applications for the position of PATH Coordinator. This is a full-time grant-funded position.

Job Duties

  • Complete all grant related budgeting, purchasing, account reconciliation and reporting. 
  • Work with elementary schools in the tri-county region (Campbell, Claiborne and Anderson counties) to establish a Career Awareness/Work Ethics curriculum supporting healthcare fields in demand locally.
  • Develop a Career Awareness/Work Ethics curriculum with emphasis on health careers for implementation in grades K-6.
  • Develop curriculum and activities for middle school camps for 7th and 8th graders in schools.
  • Develop in-service presentation for secondary education partners yearly.
  • Maintain accurate records and serve as liaison to all collaborative partners and THEC for the life of the grant.
  • Conduct initial individual meetings with all collaborative partners.
  • Conduct Quarterly Steering Committee Meetings with all grant partners.
  • Coordinate with the Work Based Learning Counselor position.
  • Work with higher education partners to develop articulation agreements and career pathways.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the President and/or Vice President of the College related to grant activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of budgeting and finance with at least three (3) years of experience.
• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office applications, email, etc.) are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree is preferred
• Teaching experience in K-12 is considered a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, and industry personnel is essential to the position.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience and according to salary guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents. Salary grade 104 has a midpoint annual salary of $54,251.
