The Tattnall County Health Department is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the full-time, salaried position of PH Registered Nurse Supervisor.
As a Registered Nurse Supervisor with the Tattnall County Health Department, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

Job Responsibilities
As a member of the nursing staff, will assume expanded functions requiring specialized nursing knowledge, skills and judgment in the provision of services to the general public in accordance with nurse protocols. Under general supervision, will assist in the supervision of nurses and in the management of clinic and nursing schedules. Assures all clinical areas are adequately covered from 8 am-5 pm, with all clients being seen in a timely manner. Will assist in the planning and preparing of the monthly nurse schedule and planning of the daily schedule to ensure appropriate nursing coverage in the clinic throughout the day. Preforms Performance Management Responsibilities, which include but are not limited to reviewing of PMF’s and observations. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND One year of nursing experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a supervisor or manager of nursing staff.Additional Information

Salary range
- $74,758 - $81,955 per year
