Physical Requirements

This position may require sitting at a computer workstation and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds. Must also be able to reach above or below waist level. Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.



Shift

Primarily day shift; Monday through Friday.



Job Summary

Answer patient phone calls regarding pharmacy requests including but not limited to infusion visits, prior authorization status and other needs. Document and route calls appropriately in the electronic health record (EHR). Provide excellent customer service and utilize problem solving skills to address requests and concerns within scope.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Strong customer service skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, team player, able to multitask, attention to detail, computer skills, problem solving, strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Education/Experience

Customer Service skills; Call center experience preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, nationally certified Pharmacy Technician.
