WHAT YOU’LL DO EACH DAY:

  • Operate Blending and Milling Equipment to meet daily production and quality needs/expectations.
  • Respond to production problems and take appropriate corrective action. Make necessary mechanical adjustments. 
  • Operate forklift to move material.
  • Complete required record keeping tasks.
  • Maintain work area and equipment according to the highest GMP’s, SOP’s and safety standards.
  • Be an active member of the Milling/Blending work team with emphasis on teamwork spanning all work shifts.
  • Continually strive for improvements in safety, quality and productivity.
  • Work with minimal supervision; must be responsible and able to timely initiate appropriate work activities.
  • Coordinate activities with Production Control.
  • Operate other packaging machines and/or work in other areas of the plant (in both the wet and dry tea facilities) in response to business needs.
  • Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.
  • Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:
    • GMP’s
    • Allergen Program
    • Quality
    • Sanitation
    • Safety
    • SQF
  • Additional duties and various projects as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • New starting wage is $23.00 / hour (commensurate with experience and location). *Note that rate could change based on shift schedule.
