Full Time

As a full-time social strategy and management professor, you will prepare talented students for creative careers through a professional, positive, and engaged classroom environment. You will demonstrate model leadership and fulfill teaching assignments as determined by the contact hours listed in the Employment Agreement, including syllabus design, submission, and approval; conduct midterm grade reviews; and maintain availability for office hours, extra help sessions, learning opportunities, and field trips. You will conduct course and program assessments, meet grading and documentation requirements, and record attendance for each class per academic policies and regulations. 

In this position, you will support academic assessment and institutional effectiveness efforts by contributing to the university’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals. You will attend on-ground and virtual activities such as admission events, faculty councils, exhibitions, and more. Among other duties, you may also participate in curriculum assessment and development meetings, accreditation support, institutional effectiveness meetings, or other publicity assignments. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Degree in social strategy and management or a related field
  • Experience in or knowledge of related industries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the collegiate level 
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, Sprout Social, Agorapulse, and various social media platforms
  • Five years of experience with social strategy and management

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Ability to be credentialed through SACS guidelines or justified to teach

Travel required: 

  • Less than 10%   

Work Hours: As noted in the Employment Agreement.
