The Regional Facilities Maintenance Manager leads all functions of Whataburger’s internal Maintenance Service Company (MSC). They allocate work responsibilities to maintenance technicians, track costs, and plan and manage projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises maintenance, repairs, and improvements at Whataburger facilities. 
  • Manages tickets received through the Contact Center and prioritizes emergency requests. 
  • Resolves issues by providing advice to on-site technicians remotely.  
  • Provides remote support on mechanical malfunctions to on-site technicians 
  • Manages parts inventory and monitors stock levels. 
  • Liaises with external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations. 
  • Supervises third-party vendors and subcontractors to conduct preventative maintenance and repairs. 
  • Ensures proper training is given to technicians and evaluates technician performance. 
  • Monitors cost controls, manages capital expenditures, and administers allocated budget efficiently.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required in relevant technical fields 
  • 7+ years’ experience in Facilities Management, preferably in restaurant industry 
  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification or CFC Certification, preferred 
  • State-licensed Mechanical Contractor or Journeyman’s license preferred
