Job Summary

For Fall 2025, an instructor is needed to teach Regional Geography (GEO 152) in person at the Southwest campus in Louisville, Kentucky on Fridays. Online instructors are not needed. Please note, you must be qualified to teach Regional Geography (not Physical Geography) for this course. However, other in-person Regional/Human, or Physical Geography classes may be needed in the future.

Job Duties:

Previous teaching experience in Regional Geography, proficient in BlackBoard Ultra, good communication skills, positive teaching evaluations, and incorporating diverse perspectives into teaching.

Fully in-person at the Southwest Campus, and possibly other JCTC campuses.

Minimum Qualifications:

MS degree in Regional or Human Geography with one year of teaching experience. Experience with BlackBoard.

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD and 3 years of teaching experience.
