As a Reporting Analyst, you will be part of a highly collaborative, cross functional team within Investment Operations. You will be writing custom reporting in Advent Portfolio Exchange, a financial reporting system used by internal business partners. You will also be assisting with backlogs on project as needed relating to private equity, real estate, venture capital, and other alternative and non-traditional investment.
You will work closely with internal partners, including alternative investment due diligence and oversight, investment operations and finance teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Skills you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced Degree a plus
  • Experience in the financial services industry, back-office operations preferred
  • Experience in Alternative Accounting or Private Equity / Hedge Fund Accounting is a plus
  • Proficient with Agile enabling tools like Jira/Jira Align
  • SQL and SSMS experience required
  • SSRS Reports development experience preferred

You will:

  • Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reports
  • Review and reconcile alternative investment data across multiple sources
  • Identify opportunities to utilize reporting to create efficiencies in operations processes
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to access, understand, and utilize financial reports
