How will you make an impact in this role?
This is an opportunity to solve new problems and deliver outstanding service each day. Core responsibilities include assisting the client with:.
- Managing complex operational needs in partnership with Client Managers/Clients
- Consulting client on best practices and being a trusted advisor to CLM/Client on commercial program processes
- Identifying and managing projects supporting charge volume expansion and retention efforts in partnership with Client Managers
- Partnering with Client Management and Clients on KYC efforts to enable our business to achieve full remediation in a timely manner
- Optimizing programs and improving business processes (i.e. hierarchy maintenance, facilitating operational requests from partner teams, consulting clients on more efficient processes, etc)
- Engaging with client for a range of requests and partner inquiries as needed (topics may include credit/fraud cases, legal entities, Program Administrator access, etc.)
- Preparing data and insights for reporting to Client Manager/Client (i.e. Analysis of program spend, supplier files and program optimization reports, etc.)
- Driving issue escalation with internal/Client contacts and troubleshooting as needed
- Presenting findings to client with recommendations for program enhancements as opportunities arise
- Other ad hoc projects as defined by client, G&L leadership team and business priorities
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience with card programs and/or payments industry
- BBA/BA/BS or solid equivalent experience working with a large customer and supporting their payment needs
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external global, cross-functional teams
- Talent for effectively interfacing at all levels within an organization
- Strong project management skills to drive program initiatives and deliver complex technical implementations
- Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong compliance performance in previous roles.
- Strong data analysis capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience presenting in-person to stakeholders at different levels of an organization
- Excellent technical aptitude; analytical and detail oriented
- Must be results oriented and demonstrate a proactive approach to driving success
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- May require 10% travel
- Knowledge of global payment product lines, service, and infrastructure
- Must be professional, highly customer focused, and enthusiastic
- Excellent phone presence with a will to win and positive mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced business environment
- Knowledge of Amex proprietary technology, products, operations, and reporting tools; operational / servicing experience preferred.
- Hybrid or Virtual (If Virtual, must be able to work effectively and be self-motivated in a virtual environment)
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
