Position Summary:

The ED Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day to day nursing activities to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Night shift ED RN Supervisor, includes day/rotation depending on the needs of the department. A Registered nurse holds ultimate responsibility for direct and indirect nursing care, including providing nursing care, health maintenance, teaching, counseling, planning and restoration for optimal functioning and comfort. Excellence in nursing practice also includes clinical skills and capabilities beyond baseline competence. These include the ability to conduct a comprehensive assessment that incorporates an advanced and sophisticated integration of clinical information, and the ability to translate that assessment into a superior plan of care for the patient/family/care team.

$10,000 sign-on bonus for all new full-time RNs! (Prorated for part-time and per-diem)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Current MA RN Licensure
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • ACLS and PALS Required

Experience

  • Five years of professional nursing experience and at least three years of supervisorial experience.

Working Conditions

  • Physical Environment - Frequent sitting, occasional standing & walking, and lifting of 5-10 lbs.
  • Manual Dexterity - Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate a computer keyboard.
  • Audible/Visual Demands - Requires the ability to see computer screens and reports.
