Job Description and Requirements
The Sales Assistant schedules appointments with members and RBFCU Investment Service Advisors, markets the RBFCU Investments Group program to credit union employees and members, performs administrative functions in support of the RBFCU Investment Group program.
Bilingual in Spanish and English?Candidates can earn an additional $2.00 differential upon the successful completion of the RBFCU Bilingual Spanish/English certification.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Schedules a minimum of 15 appointments per week with members and each RBFCU Investments Group Representative.
- Markets the RBFCU Investments Group program to both credit union employees and members.
- Assists with seminar preparations. Duties may include assembling seminar packets, making room arrangements, keeping lobby materials well supplied and current.
- Responsible for providing administrative support for the RBFCU Investment Group program. Duties include setting up appointments with members, analyzing, sorting, and delivering incoming mail, providing telephone coverage, typing memos and correspondence, and managing calendars.
- Provides weekly time reporting to the Support Manager of RBFCU Investments Group.
- Maintains member marketing lists ensuring that information is current and accurate.
- Assist with RBFCU Investments Group marketing promotions with credit union employees and members and preparation seminars.
- Maintenance of client data within our Contact management database

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, Bachelors Degree preferred
- Less than one year of previous job related work experience
- Requires good judgement to solve day-to-day problems
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment, excellent human relations skills and communication skills
- Must be available for occasional evening and Saturday hours
- Systems and Software: Microsoft applications, Contact Management System, and Voicemail
- Must possess good telemarketing and administrative skills including: organization, attention to detail, typing, and PC knowledge'
- Ability to market the RBFCU Investments Group Services program
- Comfortable working face to face and on the phone, friendly, outgoing and creative
- Required to obtain the following license and FINRA registrations within 90 days of hire date:
- Texas State Insurance License
- Series 6
- Series 63
