Sales Director


Responsible for leading and directing the Account Executive and Account Management teams to meet and exceed membership, revenue and operating income goals while representing Sutter Health Plus and providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Provide sales leadership, strategic direction and oversight to all commercial lines (Individual, Small Group, Large Group) market segments and products. Create new sales distribution channels and manage and enhance existing sales channels. Formulates moderately complex, effective strategies consistent with the business and competitive strategy of the organization. Includes analysis of competitive products and services, pricing support activities, market size and potential, short and long term growth forecasts and account management and sales processes and techniques.

Valid California Life Agent License Upon Hire Required


10+ Experience in Healthcare Insurance industry (specifically employee benefit sales), business development and/or account management required. Must have experience working with fully insured Employer Group Products preferred. SalesForce CRM system experience preferred. Experience and existing relationships with Brokers and Consultants in Northern Californiapreferred. Direct management capacity or demonstrated leadership experience required.
