About the role:

SAP Solution Architect Lead is responsible for aligning business strategy with SAP Solutions, ensuring optimal implementation and utilization of SAP technologies to help drive MLA transformation. This role requires deep expertise in SAP business process and application capabilities. Ability to lead, digital transformation strategies to enhance business process operational efficiency and innovation in a SAP S/4 HANA in a RISE environment. This individual will work closely with the business process teams, IT, and SAP consultants to ensure MLA follows SAP best business processes and arrives at a clean core solution.

What you will do:

• Design high-level SAP configuration architecture to ensuring it aligns to business objectives, IT strategy, and industry best practices. Collaborate with MLA leadership to identify and prioritize key transformation initiatives leveraging SAP capabilities. Function as trusted advisor on SAP best practices and emerging technologies.
• Provide architecture guidance and mentor-ship to raise SAP skills within the IT team. Establish architecture principles, methodologies to ensure SAP best practices, governance frameworks and compliance standards are enforced. Ensure installation, configuration, and deployment of SAP system is aligned with clean core SAP best practices.
• Ensure IT and business teams maintain consistency across SAP landscape: including standardizing, simplifying, and optimizing workflows across departments. Educate stakeholders on SAP capabilities and recommend innovative SAP solutions to drive digital transformation.
• Oversees SAP consultants to ensure SAP S/4 HANA environment is optimized using best practices. Primary facilitator for change control process. Responsible for the correct detailing of end to end requirements and completion of the project quality gates.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation mindset to stay updated on SAP Advancements, including AI, cloud computing and analytics. Recommend innovative SAP solutions to drive business competitive advantage.

When & Where:

• Normal office hours, additional off hour or weekend support for IT operations or Project Implementations.
• Some travel to other MLA sites to support Project Implementations or Business Meetings and Initiatives.

What you need to have:

• Ensure business processes meet SAP best practices and are configured properly to sustain a SAP S4 HANA RISE environment.
• Align SAP solutions across business process team needs, ensuring scalability, security and efficiency.
• Collaborate and act as trusted advisor with business leaders to understand organizational goals and align with SAP related strategies.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, development, and business teams to ensure alignment between SAP and the different business groups.
• Ensure business process stakeholders standardize and optimize end to end workflows across departments.
• Act as a bridge between business units, IT teams & consultants to maintain consistency across SAP landscape.
• Establish and enforce SAP best practice architecture configuration principles, methodologies & governance frameworks.
• Define best practice integration strategies between SAP & other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, Windchill, JAGGAER & analytics platforms).

What would be nice to have:

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP systems including SAP S/4HANA across multiple business processes.
• Best practice knowledge of SAP integration (PI/PO, CPI), data management, and analytics solutions (BW/4HANA, SAC).
• Experience in cloud-based SAP solutions and digital transformation initiatives for a manufacturing or industrial company.
• Ability to conduct application solution design reviews and resolve complex end to end issues across business process teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to SAP, including configuration, and data migration strategies.

The pay for this position ranges from $119,056 to $156,452 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
